Osama Bin Laden is Dead
Bin Laden was finally found more than 9 and half years after the 2001 attacks on the United States
Bin Laden, 54, had been hiding in military garrison city of Abbottabad, about 60 kilometres from Rawalpindi and about 35 miles north of Islamabad in Pakistan. Abbotabad is a popular summer resort, located in a gateway to the spectacular Kagan Valley surrounded by green hills near Pakistan occupied Kashmir. Islamist militants, particularly those fighting in Kashmir in India used to have training camps near the town. This town is relatively affluent and home to many retired members of Pakistan’s military.
The fact bin Laden was apparently living in relative luxury not far from Islamabad could pose awkward questions for Pakistan. This has been exactly the concern of the whole world that he had been hiding not in a remote border area but in the cities.
